Malik Shaheed is an accomplished Media personality and entrepreneur who has interviewed the likes of Kanye West, Pink, Beyoncé, Eminem, 50cent, Jay Z and many more. He is as a former MusiquePlus VJ, that has also worked on City TV, CJAD radio and Bell Fibe TV and is currently an on-air personality on 95.9 Virgin Radio.
Today Malik is the Executive Director of Youth Stars a Non-Profit organization that serves a diversely linguistic and cultural youth population. His goal is to help foster life skills, self-esteem and strengthening interpersonal skills through a variety of youth programs and workshops.
As a school Commissioner and through his webinars, his goal is to make sure that the marginalized communities’ issues and challenges are understood and that equality, inclusivity and Diversity are part of the many important conversations happening.
Malik has been awarded, The YMCA Peace award, Montreal Community Cares award, Canadian Urban Music Award, Desta Community Impact Award, S.O.B.A award. For his contribution to the Youth Community and Urban Music scene. Visit malkshaheed.com, to learn about Malik and his endeavors.
