BIOGRAPHY
Catherine Souffront is a multidisciplinary artist, bilingual actress, screenwriter and singer. Versatile and passionate, she thrives on challenges.
On July 31, 2018, she took a risky leap, as some would say, by leaving behind her career as a Crown prosecutor at the DPCP in Montreal to pursue what she felt was her true calling: artistic expression.
Since then, Catherine has taken on many roles on the small screen. She has appeared as Mylène in L'Oeil du cyclone, nurse Jocelyne in Les Bracelets Rouges and mermaid Coralie in L'Ile Kilucru. More recently, she starred alongside Frédéric Pierre in Lakay Nou.
On the big screen, Catherine is part of the cast of the successful film December 23, where she plays Jessica. She also played a supporting role alongside Vincent Leclerc in Allen Sunshine, Harley Chamandy's debut feature film. At the end of 2024, she can be seen in Le Cyclone de Noel, based on the universe of L'Oeil du Cyclone.

In recent years, the Quebec audience has also had the opportunity to enjoy Catherine's writing skills in several television series, notably her involvement in projects such as Le Pacte and L'Oeil du cyclone and more recently, as a co-screenwriter for Lakay Nou.

Once again, Catherine was nominated for a Gémeaux in 2024 in two separate categories: Best Female Lead: Comedy or Comedy Drama, and Best Text: Comedy or Comedy Drama for Lakay Nou.

Hardworking and dedicated, Catherine has a thirst for knowledge and personal as well as spiritual growth. A passionate singer, she released her first single Pick me up in spring 2024 and an EP is due in 2025.
