BIOGRAPHY
Catherine Gauthier Gonzalez is of Salvadoran origin. Having lived her entire life with her grandparents, who only spoke Spanish, she is perfectly bilingual. Immersed in Latin culture, she also developed her skills in social dance.
From a young age, she dreamed of becoming an actress. After completing a minor in theatre studies at UQAM, including a stage in performing arts in Brazil, she continued her training at the École de théâtre du Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe, from which she graduated in 2022.
She quickly stood out on screen by landing a leading role in the series L’Empereur (Crave), directed by Adam Kosh. She then went on to appear in À coeur battant, Le Bonheur and, more recently, Avant qu’on m’oublie, where she plays Jasmine. At the same time, she maintains an active theatre career and will be touring in 2025–2026 with Jules et Joséphine.
